Biography
An American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Credentialed Leader in Academia, Dr. Cortni Krusemark brings to Augustana more than 10 years of academic experience serving in both teaching and administrative roles. In her previous position, she served as the founding program director for an occupational therapy program in Iowa. During clinical practice, Krusemark served as the director of rehabilitation services at a rural hospital in northeast Nebraska on a Native American reservation. Besides her expertise in management and interprofessional rural health, she also has practice experience in neuro-rehabilitation and orthopedics. Krusemark has served in a variety of professional roles, including Nebraska Occupational Therapy Association lobbyist (2005-08), Iowa Occupational Therapy Association (IOTA) Northwest District Chair (2019-present), AOTA DEI Task Force (2020-21), and the IOTA Political Advocacy Committee (2022-present). Krusemark resides in Dakota City, Nebraska, with her husband and four children.
